This local band’s CD is important to me because it came from the first ever local concert I have ever went to. Two bands played that late August night at superior culture: Total Head and Jasno. I am so glad I went because I haven’t gone to a concert in a while. I spent most of my first two semesters in my room, nervous, texting hardly anyone. Now that I have friends from home up here I am getting better at actually doing things now. That concert was the start of that growth.

During the Total Head Section, I lost my voice and there was a light mosh pit during some cover songs, during one of which my friend Michael, got thrown on the ground. We were lucky someone caught it on camera and posted it! When the headliner Jasno came out after, we got the show of a lifetime. Jasno was probably my favorite of all of the shows I went to, all of the songs were amazing, and buying a CD was a no-brainer. I ended up with a cool home made DIY CD case and a “My name is Jasno” badge. That concert was a very valuable moment for me and I am really glad I went.
